By accessing and using the Cognera platform, APIs, or SDKs, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms govern your access to the behavioural analytics infrastructure and data pipeline tools provided by Cognera. If you do not agree with these terms, you must not use our services.

2. Privacy-First Data Architecture

Cognera provides analytics software built on the principle of absolute data sovereignty. You agree that:

• You will not attempt to send Personally Identifiable Information (PII) to Cognera systems.
• You will adhere to all local, regional, and international privacy laws when integrating our SDKs.
• Cognera's zero-PII architecture requires strict anonymization before payload transmission.

3. Security and API Usage

You are responsible for securing your API keys, platform credentials, and project configurations. Cognera maintains robust edge-level security, but your team must adhere to best practices when managing deployment environments and access controls. You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, or maliciously disrupt the platform's service flow or infrastructure.

4. Compliance and Audit

While Cognera is engineered for compliance with GDPR, DPDP, and HIPAA standards through architectural constraints, you remain solely responsible for the legality of your data collection methodologies. Cognera is not liable for data gathered outside the bounds of user consent or deployed in violation of regional regulations.

5. Modifications to Service

We continuously refine our platform to deliver sub-millisecond latencies and sharper behavioral insights. Cognera reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue aspects of the service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of significant API deprecations or structural changes that impact active integrations.
